One night at The Haftchenar Nature & Wildlife Museum, Tehran-Iran

It’s been a month since I started my new adventure and my new life at Iran. I am kind of settle down in this country and begin to get used to most of the stuff and facilities. The toilet situation is the most unbearable for me. It’s a squat in toilet with NO toilet paper most of the time. It’s wet and dirty and smelly! Most of the apartment are built with cheap materials on the inside but beautiful materials on the outside. Pipe would started to break down in 1 or 2 years, leakage, cracks and malfunction appeared to be very common in here.

Qatar-The richest country in the world 2013

Qatar-The richest country in the world 2013

When I first research on traveling around Qatar, I already know it’s an Expensive, Modern and small country. So, when I planned to travel there, I intentionally book my flight from Sana’s Yemen to Bahrain and selected an 12 hours layover over there. Why I can do that,? It’s because Qatar airway is a MAJOR airline in Arabia and almost all flight need to be connected there. This way, I can save myself Hotel fee and flight fee. My honest travel report was-YES..YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING OF THIS COUNTRY IN 12 HOURS:)

Bafoussam, Cameroon

Bafoussam, Cameroon

All the Kingdoms in Africa is unique in some way, but somehow they are all connected. I was told that People from Dahomey kingdom are the same people in Bafoussam. They are all originally from Nigeria and migrated over there to start their own kingdom. The palaces might look different from the way of building the palaces were so similar. There’s always a main building, an open courtyard for people to gather and some other compounds. The Chefferie(or Palace) in Bafoussam is a place that you cannot miss:)

Abomey, Benin

Abomey, Benin

Abomey to me is an orange town-although it’s the former capital of the ancient Dahomey Kingdom. Almost everything over there is orange in color-including the shirt of the “taxi moto”:P

Lome, Togo

Lome, Togo

I am currently in Lome, Togo staying at a beach resort again. To be honest, I am sick and tired of waiting for visa approval but traveling around West Africa required you to obtain tourist Visas before you enter their countries and they make it really hard for you to get it. I do not want to say why they do that but that’s the fact. Even after you pay huge amount of money, they still do not want to give it to you. Anyway, I like lome afterall:) It’s a much cleaner country than Ghana and people are less agressive. They sell many different kind of vegetables in the market and the food are delicious there. Togo used to be a French colony afterall so I found all the African countries that used to be a french colonies tend to have really really good food!

Fes, Morocco

Fes, Morocco

I do not know how to describe how crazy my days was in Fes, Morocco. The Medina there was huge and it’s like a maze. But I do not buy those crap that you need a guide to travel around Medina because you will get lost. There are so many gates in the Medina and taxi is really cheap. If you get lost, just find a taxi and get to the gate. I think it’s so much more fun to walk around on your own and discover the Medina by yourself. Ofcourse you will say how do I know the history of everything, Well, I got my tricks and I think it’s Not dangerous at all to walk around on your own. You just need to know Arabs are the most hustling people in the universe and they will either try to sell your something or help you with all their hearts.
