I always told people Madagascar is one of my favorite country! It has everything you want to see and do. From great nature and scenery to national park and paradise beach! One thing to keep in mind is, the local transportation is very very old and inconvenience and travel information is limited! People normally will choose to rent a car or join local tour unless you have like 2-3 months times to travel around this biggest island in the world. To me, this is the end of my trans-africa trip! I am exhausted and running out of time. So, I decided to join a luxury tour to pamper myself. I only spent 14 days in Madagascar! If you ask me did i see everything? I will tell you I only see like 10%! Really, this country have a lot of offer, but I will show you the highlight of it. Below are my 13 days itinerary. It’s a great preview of what’s I going to show you in the next 10 posts or more:) Stay tune.
When I first planned this trip, I never though I will go to Gambia. But when you are travelling, you always heard of people talking about a certain country nearby which always make you wanted to go there. Gambia is the one. When I was traveling around morocco, I told people I will fly to Dakar, everyone suggested me to go to Gambia also because it’s a place to relax:P So, after 2 days in Senegal, I decided I need to go there to take a look. I hired the same guide again who took me to Lac Rose and it’s freaking 350 Euro just to go there for 2 days! But flying there will be around US$580. Maybe I did the right choice to overland over there?????????
Zanzibar is an island located just outside of Tanzania. It’s an island so beautiful that people will never believe it’s in Africa:). The turquoise color and white sand beach make you feel like you are in paradise. Watching sunset in an African House was one of the most unforgettable thing I have every done. Food and hotel there are a little pricy but every thing is worth it. Do check it out people:P
last time when I was in Jamaica, their capital city-Kingston was in political unrest. I actually just passed by Kingston and did saw the city was empty and full of garbage. But the rest of Jamaica was vibrant, with lot of cultural activities going around. I love Jamaica– their food, their culture, their music and their drinks-I have the BEST Pina Colada ever in my life over there in Negril!!!. Much better than the one I had in Puerto Rico–[Read more…]
