Abidjan, Grand Bassam and Aboisso, Cote d’ivoire

Abidjan, Grand Bassam and Aboisso, Cote d’ivoire

Abidjan is a coastal city lies on the south-east coast of the country in the Gulf of Guinea. When I first got there, my impression was Lot’s of cars, lots of buildings and lots of people! There was a Civil War previously in this country so you will see lots of UN people/trucks going around but now the country is safe to travel.

First, it’s a very green and lovely country, people are super friendly and will never asked you for gifts or money. Second, it got wild lifes! However, The road condition and the amount of dust on the road are just driving me NUTS! Everyday, I found myself covered with orange dust and it DID look like I went to a spa salon for spray tan!

The Hidden Side of Rhodes

When most holidaymakers think of Rhodes, they think of bustling Lindos, low-key Kolymbia or perhaps the lively nightspot of Faliraki. Unless you’re a regular to the island, you probably won’t be acquainted with the resort of Archangelos. But if you fancy a trip to Rhodes this year that’s a little bit different, then now’s the time to introduce yourself.

Funeral at Senegal

Funeral at Senegal

Traveling to Africa is amazing because you will never know what kind of situation you will bump into. People there are friendly and they will invite you to event you will never dream of. The other day I was invite to attend a funeral ceremony in Senegal and learned a lot about their local culture. Because most senegalese are Muslim, their body need to be bury on the same day or within a week. Then they need to have a ceremony for that person and if the town is small, almost everyone will attend the ceremony.

Toubab Dialaw, Senegal

Toubab Dialaw, Senegal

Toubab Dialaw to me is a very magical place:) It’s look like a fairytale world and is totally different from the rest of Senegal! The hotels and houses over there are all so beautiful because rich Senegalese love to built vacation houses over there because of the beautiful beach over there. I went to stayed at one of the most famous hotel-Sobo Bade in a 120 degree sea-view hut. The hut literally sit right in front of the ocean so I can hear the sound of the wave right in the room! Totally magical!
