When I was in Madrid, people were talking about how magnificent Granada is. They told me it’s one of the most beautiful place in the world and I must visit there! So, since Malaga is one of my travel destination for this trip, I am determined to check out this place:) However, Spain is really TOO GRAND, I have never seen a country have so many Polished Granite pavement road..ever! When I first planed my trip, I knew I need to passby Barcelona in order to get to Malaga from Lisbon. Since I want to go to as many country as possible during this trip, I knew that I want to go to Andorra because it’s so close to Barcelona. There’s NO airport in Andorra and the best way to get there is to take a shuttle from BNC airport. However, to me It’s a miracle that I can get into this tiny country before dark because I landed at 3pm and the shuttle run at 3:15 pm that day:P. I can say I am such a lucky girl because if I didn’t catch that shuttle, I need to wait for another 2 hours for the next shuttle.
On the shuttle, I talked to the local people regarding Andorra and I asked them the things to do in Andorra. Then they asked me how long I planed to stay there. Well, that’ the point, I will only stay there for A DAY!! When I do my research, I found out that Andorra is a Ski resort town but I do not plan to ski over there. That’s why I decided only to spend on day there. But to my surprise, this country is MORE than just a Ski or hiking place! Why? Well, if you see the price of cigarette and Booze are cheaper than the Duty free at the airport, you will all understand why:P!!!![Read more…]
Today, I officially have travel outside NYC for a month:) To be honest, I felt quite exhausted already. I took 200-500 photos everyday, but when you had already seen thousands and thousands of churches and monasteries you will feel nothing is special anymore! To me, I agree with most people-having a vacation in between job is always better than to travel indefinitely. Also, I have to agree on what my mom always said- IF EVERYONE JUST TRAVEL INDEFINITELY AND DO NOT HAVE A REAL JOB, THIS WHOLE ECONOMY IS GOING TO COLLAPSE BECAUSE OF YOU PEOPLE!:)..Do you agree?[Read more…]
I went to Portugal hoping to do some activities-canyoning, rafting, surfing and Blokarting, etc. However, when I arrived there 3 days ago, almost all the activities were closed since they said winter came too early this year and it’s too cold for some of the stuff. Well, portugal is still one of the best places in the world to travel- let’s start with all the inspirational photos and you will understand-[Read more…]
I don’t want to talk about politics:P But when you are traveling, it’s a topic you can never avoid because you need to know your safety. My first impression when I arrived Athens was-DREADFUL! There’s tons of concrete block buildings and Graffiti all over the place! Even the Acropolis cannot make this city shine:P My Taxi driver told me couple of years ago Athens was a city that never sleep. But after the economy crisis, a lot of people lost their job and crimes in the city increase dramatically. People couldn’t afford to go out and spend money so a lot of shops closed. But was Greece very dangerous? To me, it’s just like any city in the world, shit do happen:P But luckily, nothting happend to me:)…..YEA![Read more…]
