  13. Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m so excited it led me back to yours! I saw your Heart Africa campaign tab and was so happy that there are people out there like you who care enough to do things like that. I actually just graduated with a degree in developmental economics, so I’ve worked on development projects that span all around the world trying to alleviate poverty. That is my true passion. If you are looking for any connections somewhere in Africa, I used to be involved in an organization that promoted natural and healthy cosmetics (like no parabens, sulfates, etc) and there was one man very involved who you might be interested in. I can’t remember exactly what brand is his, but he was born somewhere extremeley poor and rural in Africa, possibly Ethiopia but I can’t remember, and then had the fortune to move to the United States. He was raised by a single mother who he highly admires and wanted to do something to help the poverty, but especially the women and the education in his home village. So, he started a natural cosmetic and body product line where he hired the women in his village back at home to make the products with their local shea butter I believe. The company became really successful and he also works on schools in the area too. Thats the short version of the story, but he is a really cool and nice guy. If you are interested in contacting him for any advice or collaboration of some sort, let me know and I will try to get that information for you. My sister used to work with him closely in our charity organization. I think that brand might be Alaffia, but I would have to double check.

Sorry for the really long message, but I just wanted to put all of that out there in case you are interested! It is really great what you are doing. I hope you stop by my blog again soon ๐Ÿ™‚ There should be a new post in about 24 hours.

    • Wow….YEA..I am TOTALLY INTERESTED!!!! Please send me his contact so I can speak to him and learn some experience from him. AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SPENDING THE TIME to write to me. I do not mind long comment at all and I really appreciate people do read my post. I mean afterall, that’s what all bloggers want, right? I will try my best to post more good photos or contents:) and definitely will stop by your blog:)..Also, a lot of people asked me why all of a sudden I create this blog. Well, I think the more and more I traveled, I learned a lot through interacting with different people…esp from around the world.!! That’s true, I really want to learn from all of you!!! I have no intention to trying to get attention or show off. It’s just I have this upcoming trip and I really really want to show the world the situation in AFRICA. THERE are so many people jeopardized Africa without really know this continent! I felt really upset about all the rumor about it. Like, the first reaction from my friend that knew I am going to Africa asked me–OMG, there’s so many AIDS patient in Africa!!! or you are so funny, all African trying to escape to EUROPE, WHY ARE YOU GOING THERE?!. Also, people from ASIA have many misunderstanding also, they thought AFRICA is SO DANGEROUS THAT I SHOULDN’T”T VISIT!! I mean, ofcourse AFRICA is dangerous, but everywhere is dangerous too. There’s still PEOPLE living there but I am so SAD that how can such a beautiful continents suffer so much!. We can help them and and I wanna help them. I really love Africa and I do not want this continent to get destroyed!!!! Hope I can succeed and let you guys know:)

Sorry for the long reply also;) Cheers everyone:)))
